Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Oak Class Home Learning week 7

Hello Oak Class

End of another week already! The term seems to be flying by.

This week we have been thinking about the BLACK LIVES MATTER movement and protests which are currently in the media.  Linked to this we have looked at poetry by Benjamin Zephaniah and I hope you have enjoyed his work as much as I do.  The illustrations you have sent into me have been so fabulous.  I really am impressed with the different ways you have chosen to represent the poem.  Some were literal representations and some were more abstract, thinking about how the poem made the reader feel.

For Science, we have looked at Carl (or Carolus) Linnaeus and I hope you have learnt a lot about the classification system he developed.  Your posters/fact files/power points were great!

Also, thank you to all of you who have sent their poems to me.  I have attached some photos of them below.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the sunshine!

See you on Tuesday’s zoom sessions

Miss Jackson
