Squirrel Home Learning Summer Week 5

Hello Squirrels,

We’ve made it to half term! I am so proud of how well you have all coped with the home learning. You are all very young but have adapted to learning remotely really well. I have loved seeing you all everyday on Zoom and finding out about all of the different things you have been doing. This week we have concentrated on our writing and lots of you have managed to complete the story of Jack and the Beanstalk – well done. A special mention to Thea and Joshua, who have completed almost all of the tasks this week!

Austin has been coping with a tiger in his living room, as well as visiting New Buckenham Castle. He made his own castle and put it in a tree to climb up to and wrote the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. He has also made his own solar system. you have been busy Austin!

Thea has measured different shoes, made a giant’s shoe, painted a picture of her favourite part of the story, drawn and painted her own castle and written the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Joshua had a go at making a rain cloud in a jar, built a castle out of lego, played golf, wrote the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and found five things that are taller and shorter than he is.

Casper has written the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and climbed trees.

Henry has been reenacting the story of Peter Pan,  measuring sunflowers, playing lots of football and doing lots of reading.

Ella has been collaging.

Arun has been making up his own stories and practising his phonics.

Evelyn has written the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and been enjoying family time in the sunshine.

Ruby has measured her family, has written the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, been riding her bike and making a castle.

Mrs Newbery
