Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Forest School – 3rd October 2019

This week in Forest School the children arrived in pairs (one blind and one leading).

In circle time at the start of the session we discussed the importance of clear instructions and trust.

The children were then given a task to erect a tent in small groups. All the groups managed to put their tents up although most groups needed a little assistance.

The children then chose their own activities which included craft, ropes, hammocks etc although most chose to base their play around their tents.

We concluded out session with a discussion on how well each team worked together during the tent task.

As the weather gets cooler, the children are going to need to wear more layers plus waterproof wellies and coats.
