Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Fox Home and School Learning Week 8

Hello Fox Class

I hope you are all well and have had a good week.  I have enjoyed seeing everything that you have been doing at home and working with the children who are at school.  You are all doing so well and I am very proud of you all (and your parents!).  You will notice some pictures of kittens – Miss Brown wanted to show you the new members of her family!  Aren’t they cute?!

Jenson, Maxwell, Indie, Sonali, William, Imogen and Drew have all worked very hard at school this week.  They have written some excellent recounts on ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ as well as doing lots of Maths work, reading, spellings and other subjects too!  We enjoyed learning  about how the Jews celebrate Shabbat.  We have also been monitoring the weather each day for our weather charts – rather variable weather this week!

Finley sent me his story ‘The first snake to build a snow animal’ and he has been enjoying all the vegetables that he is growing – he harvested their first cucumber!

Vera wrote about ‘The first puppy on a deserted island’ which I enjoyed reading.

Atlas sent me a really impressive amount of Maths that he has done, as well as some other subjects too.

Anthony wrote about a tiger at the zoo and he also sent me a great picture of the first fish that he caught.

Lara celebrated her birthday with an amazing cake and also wrote a great story called ‘The first elephant to fly a Spitfire’.

Oli wrote a fantastic story called ‘The hamster who wanted to go to Paris’.

Tyler sent some lovely work that he has been doing about the seaside.

Bobby has been writing about Charlie the giraffe and has been presenting his work so neatly.

Bertie went to the beach and made some Brownies!

Cole sent me some writing about the Titanic.  He is still the biggest expert on this topic!

Christopher has been working on an African topic and focusing especially on Kenya.  He has also written about Ronald the Rhino.

Well done all of you – another great week.  Have a great weekend and I will see you all next week, virtually or in real life!

Mrs Ward
