Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Oak Class Home Learning- Summer Term week 3

Hello again Oak class,

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine (and keeping sun-cream topped up of course).  We have been renovating our garden so I have had to use a lot of the maths we have used in school to work out how many materials we need.  I have had to work out volume of materials to go under our patio, area of patio to know how many tiles we needed, ratio of sand to cement to order the right amount and multiplication for costings.  I am sure some of you would have been able to work it out for me!

We also put some bunting up for VE Day, attempted a 1940s hair style and had a BBQ on the front drive.  Typical bank holiday weather though as it rained just as we sat down to eat!

I would love to see any photos of what you got up to for VE Day.

This week, you have been busy writing your speeches about your cat house design and learning about the circulatory system.  I have also enjoyed seeing your timelines for history and am so proud to see you working exceptionally hard as always!

History – Timelines

Cat House Speeches to persuade Pets at Home to stock your product

Science – the circulatory system

And lots of other bits …

Enjoy your weekend and hope to see a lot of you on Zoom this week.

Keep being amazing!

Miss Jackson
