Believe, Achieve, Succeed

Welcome to Fox Class 2020-2021

Hello Fox Class!

I hope you all have had a wonderful summer holiday. I can’t wait to see you all on Monday and to welcome you into Fox Class.  It was great to see most of you on Zoom earlier.  I have missed seeing you all!  I am sorry the photos didn’t work for Year 2s!  I have posted the same ones below.

Thank you to all the Mums and Dads who have emailed me at my new email address.  It is very helpful to have all of your email addresses at hand.

Here are a few things to remember on Monday:

Bring a bookbag (not rucksack), named water bottle, coat and packed lunch (or order a packed lunch).  No PE kit. Summer journal if completed (anytime that first week)

Show and Tell will start in the second week – more details to follow.

PE will be on Thursday in the first week and then Mondays and Thursdays from the second week.  Come wearing PE kits (see previous letter for requirements of kit) with trainers or plimsols on, no uniform needed that day.

Line up in the car park/along the pavement in the designated area, ready for the children to come in with me from the car park gate at 8.50.  Please collect your children from the same gate at 3pm.  We will enter school by the double doors in the playground which leads into the area with their pegs.  They will hang their coat up, enter the classroom and put their bookbag in the correct box, wash their hands and then sit in their seat.  All this will be explained on the first day.

I will be teaching every day except Thursday, when it will be Miss Brown.  She is going to pop in and see the children before Thursday.  Mr House and Mrs Bradley will be in the class every day.

I can’t wait to have you all in class on Monday and to hear more about your summer holidays.  We will be doing lots of fun things.  If you have any questions in the meantime do feel free to email me.  I will update this blog on Friday if anything changes, but wanted to upload these photos now as the Year 2s weren’t able to see them on Zoom.

Have a great last few days.

Mrs Ward
